Fatou (Kiné) Ba was born in Lusaka, Zambia. She grew up in East and West Africa, and presently resides in the United States.
She draws her inspiration from her rich African cultural heritage. Although she prefers to use wood as her canvas to paint her beautiful contemporary designs, she also uses other materials. Her designs adorn many home décor items ranging from candleholders to napkin rings. Her colors of choice are earthtone.
